HCI researcher in personal & digital fabrication
š Hi, Iām Yuecheng Peng, an incoming PhD student in the department of Human-Centered Design & Engineering at the University of Washington advised by Professor Nadya Peek.
š§Ŗ I was a visiting researcher in Morphing Matter Lab at University of California, Berkeley, working with Lining Yao on fabrication of biodegradable sensors and actuators.
š§¶ In UW, I worked in Machine Agency with Nadya Peek and Hannah on the fabrication of knitted sensors.
𩼠I also worked in Make4All Group with Jennifer Mankoff and Jerry Cao on using personal & digital fabrication to solve accessibility challenges.
𧤠At the very beginning of this journey, I worked with my undergraduate advisor, Guanyun Wang, on the personal fabrication of functional textiles.
